Sony DCR-SR47 camcorder (PAL)

The entry-level Sony DCR-SR47 60GB Handycam Camcorder (Silver) records to both the 60GB hard disk drive and optional Memory Stick PRO Duo media. Capture up to 45 hours of video (in LP mode) to the HDD; should you need more storage, record additional footage to Memory Stick media. You can even transfer your video and still images to the Memory Stick for easy uploading to your compatible computer or printer.

The DCR-SR47 also boasts a professional-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 60x optical zoom and SteadyShot image stabilization. These features work together with the 2.7" wide touch panel LCD and 1/8" Advanced HAD CCD image sensor to provide clear, detailed images of your child's play or just a day at the beach.

The camcorder also has a myriad of other functions designed to simplify recording, so you can focus on the moment instead of fumbling with complicated menus. When you're ready to share your memories, the Sony PMB software and features like one-touch disk burn help with uploading to social media sites and making DVD copies.

Hybrid Recording to HDD or Memory Stick Media

You have the option of recording your video and still images to the 60GB hard disk drive or Memory Stick Duo media (optional) with the DCR-SR47. Footage stored on the HDD can be transferred to Memory Stick media for easy transfer to compatible computers or printers.
